Dorit Kemsley's Memoir Dropped June 2. Her House Goes to Auction June 3. She Is Still in the House. The Book Is on the Shelves. We Are Going to Need a Moment.

Court documents filed this month reveal $287,000 in luxury spending in four months while the mortgage defaulted. PK is dining with Schwarzenegger. Neither of them is the hero of this story.

On June 2, 2026, Dorit Kemsley published a memoir titled Unburdened: Moving On, Letting Go & Putting It All on the Table. She narrated the audiobook herself. A signed hardcover edition with a Certificate of Authenticity is available for purchase. On June 3, 2026, the $6.5 million Encino mansion she still lives in is scheduled to go to auction at 10:30 a.m. She is still in the house. The book is on the shelves. We are going to need a moment.

The divorce between Dorit and PK Kemsley, filed in April 2025 after a year of separation, has been a slow-motion financial disaster — and the latest chapter just landed in court. This month, PK's legal team filed new documents that for the first time put hard numbers on exactly what has been happening with the couple's money since their split. The picture that emerges is not subtle. Dorit earned $3.56 million over the past two years. According to the freshly filed documents, she directed 79 percent of that toward personal expenses and 9.52 percent toward family costs. PK, over the same period, spent 55.16 percent of his money on the family — mortgages, domestic help, Dorit's credit card, medical bills — and $40,000 total on himself. He also makes slightly less than she does.

How PK's team obtained this level of detail is its own story: they subpoenaed Dorit's bank statements as part of mandatory financial disclosure in the divorce proceeding. When Dorit found out, she texted PK: "Where are you getting those reports of my expenditure?" He replied: "Dorit, I have your bank statements. They were legally requested as part of a financial disclosure subpoena." Attorney Ronald Richards — who is not PK's lawyer but has made posting divorce documents on Instagram something of a personal mission — summarized the situation with clinical precision: "She is clueless on discovery in a divorce." He posts anyway. Every day. With receipts.

The statements, now part of the public court record, reveal what Dorit was spending while the mortgage fell behind. Between October 2025 and January 2026 — four months, one mortgage in default — her luxury retail activity looked like this:

✦ Filed in court · Oct 2025 – Jan 2026 · Subpoenaed bank statements

Chanel
$70,000
Louis Vuitton
$68,000
Hermès
$38,000
Saint Honoré
$22,000
Anton Jewelry
$20,000
Net-a-Porter
$21,000
Gucci
$6,000
Shopalpoint
$10,000
4-month total
~$287,000

Over 26 months: $102,367 per month in personal spending. These are not allegations. These are subpoenaed bank statements filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Dorit's public response to all of this, delivered to ExtraTV with extraordinary composure: "No." She then acknowledged, separately, that she does spend "a lot" on fashion — because it is her money and she can do what she wants with it. This is technically correct. The LLC that owns the $6.5 million home is in her name. The mortgage on that LLC is also technically hers. Her credit card was declined on camera at a Hamptons boutique during the season. She said it was a fraud alert. The Chanel receipts suggest a different theory.

The house was saved from a May 20 auction date by PK making last-minute payments he had no legal obligation to make. His lawyer stated he did it for the kids. The new date is June 3, 2026. He has not intervened again. The memoir came out June 2.

Meanwhile — PK Is Having a Very Different Week.

If you are imagining PK Kemsley quietly suffering while Dorit runs up Chanel receipts, the past few weeks would like to correct that impression. He has been busy — not in a keeping-a-low-profile way, but in a $120,000-Range-Rover-and-dinner-with-Schwarzenegger way.

It started on May 12 with the car. A video obtained by TMZ shows PK backing his brand-new $120,000 Range Rover out of a parking spot and directly into a Toyota RAV4 belonging to his neighbor's caregiver. He drives away. No stop, no note, nothing. He later releases a statement saying he was "unaware" he had made contact with another vehicle. The Range Rover has a dent that suggests otherwise. We note, without judgment, that the man who has not paid the mortgage was, at the time of impact, behind the wheel of a car worth $120,000.

Nine days later, photographed outside the Peninsula Beverly Hills staring at his phone, PK is ambushed by a TMZ cameraman asking about the foreclosure. "Are you really broke? Or are you hiding money?" the man presses. PK snaps: "No. I'm richer than you." The cameraman, apparently unbothered, replies: "Okay, cool. Thank you. Have a good night." Per court documents, PK's net monthly cash flow is $40,858 and his rent is $16,500 a month. He is, by his own reckoning, richer than the cameraman. We take him at his word.

Then, on May 28, PK posts photos from a "boys night in Hollywood" at Mr. Chow's — a birthday dinner for film producer Robert Earl. Standing next to him, smiling, is Ken Todd, husband of Lisa Vanderpump. This is significant. The Kemsley-Vanderpump friendship shattered during PuppyGate in RHOBH Season 9, and the two families had not been photographed together in seven years. The friendship originally belonged to PK — he knew Lisa and Ken long before Dorit joined the show — and losing it was, by his own account, unnecessary. He said in April on a podcast: "I miss her. I know she feels the same. I believe I'm going to see her fairly soon." What he did not mention was that Arnold Schwarzenegger would also be at the table. Also present: radio personality Elliot Mintz. It was, by all accounts, a very good night. Dorit — whose falling-out with Lisa is the reason this friendship broke in the first place — was not there.

PK is also, as of April 2026, seeing someone new: Tatiana Kharchylava, Creative Director of London's exclusive Birley Clubs, introduced to him through Boy George at an art event in 2025. They split time between LA and London. She runs in elite circles. Bravo fans have noted — with the compassion the franchise is known for — that she looks somewhat like Dorit. PK has declined to comment publicly, citing the children. His lawyer continues to post on Instagram.

PK says he doesn't plan to "spar with his estranged wife in public, for the sake of the kids." His lawyer nicknamed her "Poorit Kemsley" on social media and posts her Chanel receipts weekly. These are not contradictory positions, apparently.

Before We Hand Anyone the Trophy.

Before we hand PK the wronged-husband award: he filed for bankruptcy in 2009. He had gambling debts and DUIs before the marriage — which he confirms, noting they predate meeting Dorit. He is, by his own admission, an alcoholic, sober since late 2023, which is genuinely commendable. He left the marriage while four months sober, had his sponsor deliver the news, and sat there — per Dorit's account on the LadyGang podcast — "looking off to the side" while she received the blow. He is now dating someone who resembles his ex-wife, dining with the Terminator, and making selective mortgage payments on a house he is trying to force a sale on through the courts. His net cash flow is $40,858 a month. His rent is $16,500.

And before we hand Dorit the sympathy card: she spent $287,000 on luxury goods in four months while the mortgage drowned. She told her husband, in a legal proceeding, that he had no right to her bank statements. She is launching a memoir about moving on from inside a house that goes to auction June 3. She allegedly demanded $50,000 immediately before agreeing to any resolution — a demand her estranged husband's team described in court documents as extortion. Her credit card was declined on camera. She said it was a fraud alert.

✦ Ava's Verdict

Dorit Kemsley released a memoir called Unburdened on June 2, 2026. Court documents filed this month show she spent $70,000 at Chanel in four months and directed less than 10 percent of her income toward her family while the mortgage defaulted. Her house goes to auction on June 3. She is still in it. PK, who insists he only wants peace for the children, has spent the past three weeks backing into Toyotas, insulting cameramen at the Peninsula, and dining with the Terminator at Mr. Chow's. The children are 12 and 10. Neither parent appears to be having a boring week. We will update you when the hammer drops at 10:30 a.m. on June 3.
