Who Really Rules RHOBH Instagram? The Biggest Following Isn't the Whole Story.
Rachel Zoe has the biggest room. Kyle has the longevity. Rinna left and took her audience with her. And the women nobody expected — the Friends Of and the new girl — have the fans who are actually paying attention.
If there is one thing the women of Beverly Hills understand almost as well as diamonds, divorces and dinners that end in screaming, it's Instagram.
So who actually has the biggest audience?
I went into the numbers expecting the usual suspects at the top. Kyle Richards. Lisa Vanderpump. Lisa Rinna.
Then Rachel Zoe walked into the spreadsheet.
And things got interesting.
Because having the most followers and having the most engaged followers are two very different things. One tells you how many people showed up to the party. The other tells you how many are still talking to you by dessert.
So let's look at who has the numbers, who has the engagement, and who might be quietly winning the RHOBH social media game.
Follower and engagement figures are approximate snapshots from October 2026 and can change daily.
RACHEL ZOE — The New Girl Brought the Biggest Audience in the Room.
Rachel Zoe may be relatively new to RHOBH, but she did not arrive needing the show to build an audience.
She sits at approximately 4.9 million Instagram followers. That's more than every other RHOBH woman in this comparison. Her engagement rate is a respectable 3.60%.
So Rachel didn't just walk in with a diamond.
She walked in with the biggest Instagram following in Beverly Hills.
Not bad for the new girl. Somebody get her a welcome basket. Possibly a stylist. Oh wait.
KYLE RICHARDS — Still a Giant. Just Not the Biggest One Anymore.
Kyle has been on RHOBH since the very first episode, and her Instagram reflects more than 15 years of reality TV exposure.
She's at approximately 4.3 million followers, with engagement around 3.12%.
For years, Kyle would have been the obvious answer to "Who is the biggest RHOBH star on Instagram?"
Then Rachel Zoe showed up with another half-million people.
Sorry, Kyle.
In Beverly Hills there's always somebody richer, younger, thinner or — apparently — more followed.
LISA RINNA — She Left the Show. Her Followers Didn't.
Lisa Rinna sits at approximately 3.9 million followers. That's above almost every current RHOBH cast member.
And her engagement rate? Approximately 4.19%.
That's higher than Rachel Zoe, Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Erika Jayne and several women who are currently holding diamonds.
Rinna may have left Beverly Hills.
Instagram apparently didn't get the memo.
The woman turned a social media habit into a full-time job long before it was fashionable. Clearly, the job is still going fine.
LEAH REMINI — Zero Seasons. 3.7 Million Followers.
Leah Remini joins RHOBH for Season 16 with approximately 3.7 million Instagram followers already in her pocket. Her engagement rate is around 2.42%.
Obviously, none of those followers came from Housewives. Leah had decades of television fame before anyone handed her a diamond.
But that's exactly what makes her casting so interesting.
Bravo isn't introducing Leah Remini to an audience.
Leah Remini is bringing an audience to Bravo.
YOLANDA HADID — Gone for Years. Still Out-Following LVP.
This one surprised me.
Yolanda hasn't been a regular on RHOBH in years, yet she still has approximately 3.6 million Instagram followers. That's more than Lisa Vanderpump. Her engagement rate sits around 2.45%.
Of course, being the mother of Gigi and Bella Hadid probably doesn't hurt your visibility. When your daughters are on every runway on the planet, people tend to click on your profile.
Still. 3.6 million is 3.6 million.
Lemons not included.
LISA VANDERPUMP — She Left. She Built an Empire. She Kept the Audience.
LVP sits at approximately 3.2 million followers, with engagement around 2.76%.
Considering how long she's been gone from Beverly Hills, those numbers are impressive. But not exactly shocking.
Lisa didn't disappear when she left. She built an entire Bravo universe out of restaurants, Vanderpump Rules and an apparently bottomless supply of tiny dogs.
The woman knows how to keep an audience.
She also knows how to keep a grudge. But that's a different spreadsheet.
ERIKA JAYNE — Still Expensive. Still Holding Strong.
Erika sits at approximately 2.6 million followers, with engagement around 3.04%. That keeps her comfortably among the biggest RHOBH accounts.
Pretty Mess. Pretty solid numbers.
But this is where follower count starts mattering a lot less.
Because Jennifer Tilly is coming.
JENNIFER TILLY — A Friend Of. With the Most Engaged Audience in Beverly Hills.
Jennifer Tilly has approximately 1.65 million followers.
So no, she's nowhere near Rachel Zoe's 4.9 million.
Now look at her engagement rate.
6.51%.
That's the highest engagement rate of every major RHOBH name in this comparison.
And Jennifer isn't even a full-time Housewife. She's a Friend Of.
Apparently nobody told Jennifer Tilly's followers they were supposed to treat her like supporting cast. They're not just following. They're paying attention.
— Ava WittDORIT KEMSLEY — The Followers Are There. They're Just Not Moving.
Dorit sits at approximately 1.70 million followers. That's a substantial audience.
Her engagement rate, however, is approximately 1.29% — the lowest of the women in this comparison.
And over the most recent 30-day period measured, her follower count actually dipped slightly, from roughly 1.70 million to 1.696 million.
Nobody panic.
Dorit isn't down to twelve followers and PK.
Although given everything else going on in her life right now, she may want to double-check who's still following her. Some of them might be holding paperwork.
But the number gets more interesting when you put it next to one of her newer castmates.
BOZOMA SAINT JOHN — Not the Biggest Audience. The One That's Actually Moving.
Boz has approximately 1.18 million followers. On follower count alone, that puts her well below Rachel, Kyle, Rinna, LVP, Erika and several others.
Then you look at engagement.
6.10%.
Second only to Jennifer Tilly among the women we're comparing.
Even better: Boz's audience grew approximately 1.88% over the previous 30 days.
That might not sound huge. Until you compare it to established accounts that are basically flat — or, ahem, slightly shrinking.
Dorit engagement: 1.29% · Boz engagement: 6.10%
Dorit 30-day trend: slightly down · Boz 30-day trend: up ~1.88%
Bigger audience: Dorit
Audience actually listening: Boz
Boz doesn't have the biggest Instagram audience in Beverly Hills.
She has one of the few that's actually going somewhere. For a relatively new Housewife, that may be the more interesting number.
GARCELLE BEAUVAIS — She Left the Show. Her Fans Are Still Listening.
Garcelle may have left RHOBH, but her Instagram audience is still very much in the room.
She has approximately 1.45 million followers, with engagement around 5.24%.
That's higher engagement than Rachel, Kyle, Rinna, LVP, Erika, Dorit and several other women with much bigger follower counts.
Followers tell you how many people are standing in the room.
Engagement tells you how many are actually listening.
Garcelle's room is smaller. It's also paying attention.
KATHY HILTON — Never Needed a Diamond. Doesn't Need One Here Either.
Kathy has approximately 1.4 million followers and engagement around 3.40%.
She never needed full-time Housewife status to become part of RHOBH history. Apparently she doesn't need it on Instagram either.
The Friends Of are doing just fine, thank you.
DENISE RICHARDS — Still Denise Freaking Richards.
Denise has approximately 1.82 million followers, with engagement around 2.66%.
She hasn't been a full-time Housewife in years, yet she still has a bigger Instagram audience than Dorit, Garcelle, Jennifer Tilly, Kathy Hilton and Boz.
Turns out being Denise freaking Richards still counts for something.
THE SCOREBOARD — Who Actually Wins RHOBH Instagram?
And before you ask where Sutton is: she isn't being snubbed. Comparable current engagement data wasn't available from the same source when these numbers were collected, so rather than mix methodologies or use outdated figures, I left her unranked.
If we're talking purely about followers, Rachel Zoe takes it.
| 1 | Rachel Zoe | 4.9M |
| 2 | Kyle Richards | 4.3M |
| 3 | Lisa Rinna | 3.9M |
| 4 | Leah Remini | 3.7M |
| 5 | Yolanda Hadid | 3.6M |
| 6 | Lisa Vanderpump | 3.2M |
| 7 | Erika Jayne | 2.6M |
| 8 | Denise Richards | 1.82M |
| 9 | Dorit Kemsley | 1.70M |
| 10 | Jennifer Tilly | 1.65M |
| 11 | Garcelle Beauvais | 1.45M |
| 12 | Kathy Hilton | 1.4M |
| 13 | Teddi Mellencamp | 1.25M |
| 14 | Bozoma Saint John | 1.18M |
But flip it to engagement, and the whole picture changes.
| 1 | Jennifer Tilly | 6.51% |
| 2 | Bozoma Saint John | 6.10% |
| 3 | Garcelle Beauvais | 5.24% |
| 4 | Lisa Rinna | 4.19% |
| 5 | Rachel Zoe | 3.60% |
| 6 | Kathy Hilton | 3.40% |
| 7 | Kyle Richards | 3.12% |
| 8 | Erika Jayne | 3.04% |
| 9 | Lisa Vanderpump | 2.76% |
| 10 | Denise Richards | 2.66% |
| 11 | Yolanda Hadid | 2.45% |
| 12 | Leah Remini | 2.42% |
| 13 | Teddi Mellencamp | 1.94% |
| 14 | Dorit Kemsley | 1.29% |
Look at that. Jennifer Tilly goes from tenth to first. Boz goes from dead last to second. Dorit drops from ninth to the very bottom.
That's the part I wasn't expecting.
Rachel Zoe has the biggest audience. Kyle has the longevity. Rinna kept an enormous following after walking away from the show.
But Jennifer Tilly, Boz and Garcelle have some of the most engaged audiences in the entire group.
WHAT ARE THOSE FOLLOWERS WORTH? — Nobody Is Saying They Make This Much Per Post.
Important distinction before somebody sends me a cease and desist in a fabulous envelope.
We do not know what any of these women personally charges for an Instagram campaign.
Influencer rates are privately negotiated. They can depend on everything from audience demographics and engagement to the brand, the content format, exclusivity, usage rights — and whether the company wants one Instagram Story or Jennifer Tilly personally holding its product while dressed like a glamorous Bond villain.
Industry benchmarks for Instagram creators with more than one million followers can range from roughly $10,000 to well over $100,000 for a sponsored post, depending on the creator and the campaign.
So these aren't paychecks.
They're a way of understanding the potential commercial value sitting behind those follower counts.
And some of those audiences are enormous.
Industry range for 1M+ creators: ~$10K to $100K+ per sponsored post
What moves the price: Engagement, audience, brand, format, exclusivity, usage rights

Here's where engagement comes back into the conversation.
Brands don't just pay for how many people could see a post. They pay for how many people actually stop scrolling, like, comment and click.
Which means a Friend Of with 1.65 million followers and a 6.51% engagement rate might be a lot more interesting to a marketing department than her follower count suggests.
The biggest room gets attention.
The room that's actually listening gets the deal.
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE — This Is Not a Popularity Contest. (Okay, a Little.)
This isn't a scientific measurement of who viewers like most.
Follower counts can come from entire careers outside RHOBH — clearly the case for Rachel Zoe, Leah Remini, Denise Richards and Jennifer Tilly. Engagement rates also swing depending on how often someone posts, what they post and how it's measured.
It's simply a snapshot of where these women stand on Instagram right now.
Rachel Zoe wins the headcount. Kyle wins the long game. Rinna proves you can leave Beverly Hills and keep the microphone.
But the real winners are the women nobody had at the top of the list. A Friend Of with the most engaged audience in our RHOBH comparison. A newer Housewife whose following is actually growing. A former castmate whose fans never stopped showing up.
Maybe Instagram is a lot like RHOBH itself. Having the biggest room doesn't mean much if nobody's listening when you speak. And apparently the Friends Of came ready to work. 🍷
