Dorit Kemsley Has Thoughts on Plastic Surgery. Her Unpaid Nurse Has Receipts.
She wrote the denial in a published memoir. A woman named Natalie spent 86 hours caring for Dorit's face after surgery Dorit says never happened. The book is called Unburdened. Natalie is very much still burdened.
Dorit Kemsley's memoir Unburdened was released on June 2, 2026. Twenty-nine chapters. And buried among the carefully curated non-confessions was one particularly bold move: Dorit addressed the plastic surgery rumours. Directly. On the record. In ink. For the world to read and purchase at retail price.
"One of the longest-running storylines about me has nothing to do with friendships or feuds," she wrote. "It's about plastic surgery. Apparently, depending on the week, I've had everything from a nose job to cheek implants to a chin implant to a full facial reconstruction. I've even heard 'face transplant.' Creative."
She continued: "People don't say, 'Maybe she's had something done.' They say it like a fact. Like they were in the operating room holding my hand. At this point, some people speak about my alleged surgeries with such authority I half expect them to send me my own post-op instructions."
Someone was in that room, Dorit. Her name was Natalie. She charged $100 an hour. You still owe her $8,675.
THE BOOK — What She Admitted, What She Denied, and What She Forgot to Mention
In Unburdened, Dorit confirmed the following: breast augmentation, veneers, fillers, and Botox. Standard Beverly Hills maintenance, she implied. Nothing dramatic. Nothing that would explain years of speculation about her face specifically.
She denied: a nose job, a facelift, a chin implant, cheek implants, and what she memorably called a "face transplant."
What Dorit did not mention in twenty-nine chapters: hiring a private nurse for four consecutive days and nights in November 2022. The lawsuit. The court judgment. The $8,675. Any of it. Natalie Vanderstay didn't make the cut. Editorial oversight. Certainly.
The audacity is not dead. It is alive, well, and apparently working on a second chapter.
THE TIMELINE — For Those Who Like Their Drama Chronological
November 2022: Dorit hires private duty nurse Natalie Vanderstay for 86 hours of post-operative care — monitoring her pain, administering medications, tending to her medical needs and concerns — following what the court documents describe, without editorial embellishment, as plastic surgery. Not fillers. Not Botox. Surgery. The kind that requires a private nurse for four consecutive days and nights.
2023: Natalie submits her invoice for $8,600. Dorit ghosts her like a bad Hinge date. Natalie files a lawsuit. A hearing is held. Dorit is served with legal documents. Dorit does not appear in court — because why show up when you can simply not show up? The judge, having seen enough, orders Dorit to pay $8,675. Dorit does not pay. Natalie has to drag her back to court a second time to figure out how to collect from a woman perpetually draped in designer everything.
2025: Dorit spends $287,000 at Chanel. Her house goes into foreclosure. Natalie is still waiting.
June 2026: Dorit publishes a memoir denying the kind of facial surgery that requires a private nurse for four nights of monitoring. Does not mention Natalie. Does not mention the $8,675. Does not mention the court judgment. Titles the memoir Unburdened.
Natalie Vanderstay would like to discuss that title.
PAY THE BILL, DORIT.
— Natalie Vanderstay, the judge, the court system, and everyone reading thisWHAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS NOTICED — Since Apparently the Mirror Isn't Enough
Dorit has not been alone in this conversation. The RHOBH cast has been raising an eyebrow — sometimes literally — for years.
Lisa Vanderpump, never one to waste a good observation, said on WWHL: "She had a head transplant because her face doesn't look anything like it did when she started the show." Lisa has left the building. The commentary has not.
Sutton Stracke, who has been stoking the plastic surgery conversation on camera with the dedication of someone who genuinely enjoys it, offered: "When you've had enough surgery, anybody can be pretty." And then — because Sutton — added that even Dorit's accent had had plastic surgery.
Sutton is not wrong. Sutton also doesn't owe anyone $8,675.
Even PK — PK, the man with his own extensive list of financial obligations to various institutions — noted that Dorit had "changed since the show." He was talking about their marriage. Probably. But the timing was interesting.
THE PART THAT DEFIES EXPLANATION — The Chanel Math
In 2025, Dorit Kemsley spent $287,000 at Chanel. In a single shopping trip. While her house was going into foreclosure. While Natalie Vanderstay was still waiting for her $8,675.
To put this in perspective: Dorit could have paid Natalie thirty-three times over with what she spent at Chanel and still had money left for a bag. She chose the bag. She chose thirty-three bags worth of bags. Natalie got nothing.
This is the financial philosophy of a woman who titled her memoir Unburdened.
"She had a head transplant because her face doesn't look anything like it did when she started the show."
— Lisa Vanderpump, on WWHL, unbothered and correctTHE DENIAL, IN HER OWN WORDS — Which Makes This Even Better
From Unburdened, page unknown, irony level: maximum:
"People don't say, 'Maybe she's had something done.' They say it like a fact. Like they were in the operating room holding my hand. At this point, some people speak about my alleged surgeries with such authority I half expect them to send me my own post-op instructions."
Natalie Vanderstay followed post-op instructions. For 86 hours. On Dorit's face. She has the invoice, the lawsuit, and the court judgment to prove it.
She is still waiting for the $8,675.
🍵 Daily Drama Verdict
Dorit Kemsley wrote a book. In the book, she denied having the kind of surgery that requires post-operative nursing care. A nurse who provided exactly that care — for 86 hours, to Dorit's face — is still waiting to be paid. She spent $287,000 at Chanel. She can't find $8,675 for Natalie. She titled the memoir Unburdened. Some people really do live differently. Pay your nurses, Dorit. That's it. That's the verdict.
