The Hearing Is Thursday. Dorit Is Still In France. And A Friend Just Lost $100,000.
A friend put up $100,000. A company is still suspended. An attorney hasn't been paid in months. The children are in Florida with the nanny. And somewhere between a Vinted listing and a Parisian café, Dorit filed a motion about the wrong thing entirely. August 6th doesn't care.
The Porit Chronicles: Let The House Burn Down.
Part Four
Yes, we named it. At this point, it needed one. Possibly a docuseries.
Let's do a quick geography check. Because geography, at this point, is doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the Kemsley divorce. The family home on Adlon Road, Encino — in foreclosure, as it has been for some time now, as readers of this site know in considerable detail — has a hearing scheduled for August 6th. In Los Angeles. In a courtroom. With a judge. PK is in London. The children are in Florida with their grandmother and the nanny. And Dorit Kemsley, who is required to appear before that judge on Thursday, has been in France since at least July 14th.
On July 14th — her 50th birthday — she posted on Instagram from Paris. That is how we know. Possibly earlier. But July 14th is where the documentation begins.

"Pure joy." "So much to be proud of, so much to celebrate, and I truly believe the best is yet to come." Those were her words. Posted from Paris. On her 50th birthday. We can help with the best is yet to come, Dorit. What's ahead is a courtroom in Los Angeles on Thursday. A judge who has read everything. A son with no school for September. A house that is done waiting. And an attorney bill that does not accept Vinted credits. The best is yet to come, indeed.
Either someone was holding a baguette to her head, or Dorit Kemsley has developed a truly remarkable ability to compartmentalize. The mortgage. The children. The judge. The friend who lost $100,000. All of it — filed somewhere very far from the joy. Purely.
As of August 1st she was still there. Today is August 4th. The hearing is Thursday. Nobody has confirmed a return date. Possibly held hostage. It would be the only explanation a judge might accept.
Let us trace the rest of the timeline, because it is instructive. On July 8th, Dorit was on Instagram. Modeling clothes for Vinted. The camera-ready wardrobe that Bravo allegedly required — per her own court filing, under oath — now available for purchase. Gently used. Presumably by someone whose mortgage is current.

One does wonder, at this point, whether the Vinted proceeds are funding the return flight. Paris to Los Angeles is not cheap. The courtroom does not accept Vinted credits. A GoFundMe has not yet been announced. We are monitoring the situation.
On July 24th she signed a legal declaration. Also from Paris. On August 1st, it was confirmed she was still in France. Nobody has confirmed a return date. PK's attorney asked — item one, six-item list, immediate attention required. Dorit's attorney responded. To TMZ. August 6th does not speak French and does not care.
In the meantime — because there are, in fact, actual court documents to discuss, and they are significantly more damaging than a Vinted listing — here is where things stand. This is Part Four of what we have now named The Porit Chronicles. Part One: The letter. The list. The house going to auction. Part Two: Dorit responded to TMZ. Part Three: PK fired back. New documents. New declarations. Same house. Same judge. Same France. Thursday.
THE FRIEND — $100,000. A Promise. And Then Nothing.
Which brings us to the new filings. Because while Dorit was in Paris, the courthouse in Los Angeles was not on vacation.
Meet Antony Antoniou. Financial and real estate expert. Friend of PK. A man who, in retrospect, should have kept his checkbook closed. PK has a remarkable talent for finding friends willing to lend him money. The friends, less remarkably, do not always get it back.
At this point PK has borrowed from his sponsor, his friends, and Phoenix's godfather. The list of people willing to hand him money is getting shorter by the declaration. One does wonder who is next. The postman, perhaps. A particularly sympathetic parking attendant. At some point the man should consider going off the grid entirely — somewhere quiet, with a generator and a large supply of canned goods, until the dust settles. The dust, based on current projections, will settle sometime around 2031.
Antoniou filed a declaration on July 29th documenting what he describes as a straightforward transaction that turned out to be anything but. He learned in March 2022 — March 2022, for those keeping track, which is four years ago — that the Kemsleys were experiencing cash flow issues. He also noted, under oath, that PK had expressed concerns about the family finances, including Dorit's refusal to make reasonable adjustments to her spending. A financial expert's words. In a court document. About someone who spent nearly $1 million on clothes.
Worth noting: March 2022. And already, according to Antoniou, the relationship was "fractured and stressed" — over finances. Over her refusal to adjust her spending. Two years before the separation. The separation Dorit attributed, on camera, to PK's sponsor. The math, as always, tells a different story.
As a financial expert and a friend, he advised PK to let the house go. Allow the loans to default. Take the loss. Move on. PK refused. The children. The family home. He wanted to try to save it.
Antoniou also noted that PK had rented a house nearby — a good fit for the children, close to their schools — and offered Dorit the option to move in. Covered by PK. Stable. Practical. Everything she claims to need for her children. Dorit declined. We have covered this before. We remain unmoved by the explanation.
Let's pause for a second. March 2022. Dorit Kemsley has always lived in a carefully curated parallel universe where the clothes are perfect, the narrative is controlled, the separation happened in May 2024 because that is when she said it did, and the mortgage was being paid regularly until she suddenly found out otherwise. Not in March 2022, when a financial expert friend was already documenting a "fractured and stressed" relationship over her spending. Not when PK was quietly renting a second house. Not when the mortgage was quietly not being paid. Not when the foreclosure notices were arriving by certified mail. To the house. Where she lives. May 2024. Because Dorit said so. On Bravo. With that accent. And until a judge reads the documents, the accent usually wins.
Then came the $100,000. Antoniou agreed to loan PK the money to cover mortgage arrears — but only under one condition. Dorit had to sign a formal stipulation agreeing that when the house sold, Antoniou would be repaid from the proceeds. One signature. That was it. Dorit confirmed she would sign. The funds were released. PK put the money toward the mortgage.
Dorit did not sign.
Not "she signed later." Not "she signed after some negotiation." She confirmed she would sign. The money was released on that basis. And then she did not sign. And now she is opposing PK being reimbursed for the $300,000 he personally put toward the mortgage arrears — which includes the $100,000 his friend lost on a promise that turned out to mean nothing. Instead, she wants $21,000 a month in child support, $22,000 a month in spousal support, and $347,000 in retroactive payments. From the man who just paid his friend's $100,000 loan with borrowed money. The math, again, does not work.
She wrote a memoir. Twenty-nine chapters, a ghostwriter, and a mountain climbing metaphor at a $2,000-a-night resort in Utah. The foreclosure notices didn't make the chapter list. The friend's $100,000 didn't make the chapter list. The suspended LLC, the unsigned documents, the fractured marriage of 2022 — none of it. The mountain, however, was very moving. The title is Unburdened. We cannot make this up. The irony is doing its own heavy lifting. We reviewed it here.
THE COMPANY — Still Suspended. As Of August 1st. Which Is A Condition Of The Loan.
Adlon Road, LLC — the entity that owns the Encino property — has been suspended by the California Franchise Tax Board. A letter from the FTB dated August 1st confirms it. Entity ID 201920710082. Box two checked.
One detail worth noting. The LLC is registered in Dorit's name. Not PK's. Dorit's. Because PK, with his history of judgments and bankruptcies, would not have qualified for the loan. So the house went into an LLC in her name. The mortgage is in her name. The LLC taxes are in her name — and like everything else in her life, they were not paid. The company is suspended as a result. Everything in Dorit's name. Everything unpaid. Except the Chanel. That one she kept current. And she is in France.
Reinstatement of the LLC is a condition of the loan that was supposed to save the house. The loan that Dorit agreed to sign documents for. The loan that Antoniou funded on the basis of that agreement. The loan that went nowhere because nobody signed anything.
The company that owns the house cannot legally file for bankruptcy to stop the foreclosure process. It cannot enter into new agreements with lenders. It sits there, suspended, while the house it owns proceeds toward whatever the court orders. As of August 1st, per the FTB's own letter — not in good standing. The hearing is Thursday.
THE ATTORNEY BILL — $351,757.75. Not Including July.
Paul Kemsley owes his own attorney $351,757.75. Per an invoice from Summers Levine Lipsic & Hersh LLP dated July 2nd, 2026, covering services rendered through June 30th. The outstanding balance from prior periods alone was $339,069. He added $12,688.75 in new charges in June. He is paying interest on the outstanding balance. He owes his own lawyer — the lawyer fighting his case — three hundred and fifty-one thousand dollars.
July's bill has not yet arrived.
This is the man Dorit is asking to pay her $21,000 a month in child support, $22,000 a month in spousal support, and $347,000 in retroactive payments. The math does not work. It has never worked. It continues to not work. The attorney bill is not making it work harder.
His attorney is still showing up. Still filing. Still sending letters that don't get answered. Still preparing for Thursday. Whether this is loyalty, confidence, or simply the fact that an attorney cannot legally abandon a client mid-proceedings without court permission — we will leave that to the reader to decide.
THE WRONG QUESTION — PK Asked The Court To Sell The House. Dorit Asked For Spousal Support.

PK filed a motion asking the court to order the sale of the property. A specific legal question requiring a specific legal answer. Should this house be sold, yes or no, and if yes, under what terms. We covered that motion in detail here.
Dorit's response was to ask for child support and spousal support. $21,000 a month. $22,000 a month. $347,000 retroactively. Sanctions against PK.
Not: here is why the house should not be sold. Not: here is an alternative proposal. Not: here is how we address the foreclosure. Child support. Spousal support. Sanctions.
Here is why this matters. In California family court, a motion to sell a property and a request for spousal support are two entirely separate proceedings. A judge presented with one cannot simply pivot to rule on the other. PK asked one question. The court can only answer that question. Dorit's response does not address the house. It does not explain why the house should not be sold. It asks for money from a man who owes his own lawyer $351,000. The house, meanwhile, continues to not care.
Is this a strategy? We genuinely cannot find one. We have looked. We have read the documents. We have thought about it. We cannot identify a version of this that ends well for Dorit. If anyone can — and we know we have attorneys in this group, you know who you are, and we see you — the comments are open. We would love to know. We really would.
We are going to pause here for a moment of genuine reflection. We have read every document. Tracked every dollar. Followed every signature that did not happen. And we have arrived at one conclusion: either Dorit Kemsley is running a legal strategy so advanced that it exists in a dimension we cannot access, or someone in her immediate circle needs to confiscate her phone, cancel the Paris reservation, temporarily impound the Birkins as a learning tool, sit her down in a chair, and explain — slowly, clearly, possibly with diagrams and price tags — what is actually happening to her life. Not on TMZ. Not on a podcast with a sympathetic host. In a room. With the actual documents. And a very strong coffee. We are not qualified to diagnose anything. But we have read the math. The math is not fine. The math has not been fine for some time. The math is currently in France, posting about pure joy, while the mortgage burns and the judge sharpens his pen. If anyone in Dorit's life is reading this — and statistically, someone is, possibly Boz, who appears to have survived the season relatively unscathed and may be the only friend left standing — please. Intervention. Now. The Hermès can wait. The courtroom cannot.

WHAT THE JUDGE WILL HAVE — Thursday. All Of It. In One Room.
A declaration from Dorit signed in Paris, asking the court to settle support before touching the property — a procedurally improper response to a motion about property. A declaration from PK's friend documenting $100,000 loaned in good faith on Dorit's verbal commitment, released on that basis, and never backed by the signature she promised. An FTB letter confirming the LLC which owns the property is not in good standing. An attorney invoice showing PK owes $351,757 to his own legal team, not including July. Bank statements showing nearly $1 million in luxury purchases. School rejection notices written to PK directly, confirming Dorit's non-engagement with her son's enrollment. Expired passports. A parenting schedule that was never provided. A six-item list that was answered — to TMZ.
And somewhere in France, a woman who has been posting from Paris since July 15th, who signed her legal documents there on July 24th, who was still there on August 1st, and whose return date nobody has confirmed.
One side has documents. The other side has beliefs.
August 6th is Thursday. The judge opens mail. The judge reads long documents. The judge is not Andy Cohen.
A friend lost $100,000 on a handshake that turned into a declaration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. A company that owns a house is suspended and cannot legally stop what is happening to that house. An attorney is owed $351,757 and apparently still believes in the outcome enough to keep showing up. Two children are in Florida with the nanny. Their school starts in weeks. One of them has no confirmed placement. Their passports are expired. Their mother has been documented in France since July 14th and nobody knows when she is coming back.
Dorit's response to the motion asking the court to sell the house was to ask for spousal support. The court cannot answer a question that wasn't asked. The question that was asked — should this house be sold — remains unanswered by the only person the judge actually needs to hear from.
The hearing is Thursday. The documents are in the room. The judge will read every single one. Including the long ones. Especially the long ones.
Meanwhile, Dorit is talking. To TMZ. To anyone with a microphone and a sympathetic edit. The primary caregiver. The abandoned wife. The woman left homeless by a vindictive ex. It is a compelling narrative. It is also the same woman who signed her legal declaration from Paris on July 24th, who has been in France since July 14th, and whose children are in Florida with the nanny. The court does not watch TMZ. The court reads documents. The documents have been talking for months.
Dorit is still in France. 🍷
Do you think Dorit will be in that courtroom on Thursday? And what do you think the judge does with a motion response that answers the wrong question entirely? Drop it in the comments. 👇
