MAFS Australia 2027 Cast Leaked: Every Couple, the Love Island Intruder & More

The MAFS Australia Season 14 Cast Has Leaked — And It's Already a Lot

Ten couples. A Love Island intruder. A Bachelorette veteran. The show's first female couple since 2020. And one man who was a footballer, then appeared on Dating Naked UK, then blew out his knee, and is now on MAFS. Connor Rogers is having a year.

Channel Nine has not officially announced a single name. The MAFS Australia 2027 cast is, in theory, being kept under wraps until the Season 14 premiere in early 2027. In practice, the Australian tabloid machine has been running at full speed since the first wedding venues were spotted in July, and at this point the cast is about as secret as the location of Sydney Harbour. The Daily Mail, New Idea, and PEDESTRIAN.TV have between them surfaced ten couples, one intruder, and enough background detail to write a small novel. So let's do that.

Here is every name we have, what we know about them, and — where applicable — why producers almost certainly cast them on purpose.

⚠️ A note on sourcing None of this has been confirmed by Channel Nine. All names come from paparazzi sightings at wedding venues, leaked casting tips, and reports from Daily Mail Australia, New Idea, and PEDESTRIAN.TV. Treat this as the very reliable rumour it is.

Let's Talk About the Ones Who Need Talking About

Before we get into the full couple-by-couple breakdown, two names in this cast demand their own moment. Not because they are the most romantic. Not because they are the most emotionally ready for a committed relationship. But because the audacity is genuinely impressive and we need to mark it.

First: Zac Nunns. Pour ceux qui ont raté Love Island Australia Season 5 en 2023 —

Zac Nunns MAFS Australia 2027 Love Island intruder
Zac Nunns — Love Island Australia runner-up, podcast host, and now MAFS intruder. The search continues.

Zac was the self-described "boisterous" Kiwi who entered the villa on Day 1, spent a month doing what he does best (stirring drama, gathering gossip, and convincing everyone he was actually there for love), and finished as runner-up alongside British import Lucinda Strafford. They left the villa as a couple. They travelled to Paris. They were adorable on Instagram. They broke up four months later when Zac found a suspicious "talk later x" text on Lucinda's phone at a party and, in true Zac fashion, made sure the entire podcast-listening public knew every detail.

And now — after Love Island Australia, after the very public breakup, after Lucinda went off and did Love Island Games and Love Island: All Stars while he launched a podcast — Zac Nunns has signed up for Married at First Sight. As an Intruder. Because apparently what a man who has been on a dating show, had a high-profile relationship, and discussed his love life in detail on a podcast really needs is more cameras and a different dating show. The followers aren't going to grow themselves, one supposes. Producers describe him as "outspoken" and "never afraid to involve himself in what's happening with the other couples." Yes. We noticed. We watched the season. We heard the podcast. We know.

Zac Nunns cannot find love on television. He has now tried twice. The television is not the problem.

— A thought we're having out loud

Second: Connor Rogers. Connor was a professional footballer. He had a catastrophic knee injury. He appeared on Dating Naked UK — the Paramount+ show hosted by Rylan Clark where contestants meet each other completely unclothed, in the tropics, on camera, for the entertainment of the viewing public. And now he is on MAFS Australia. Which means that between his football career, his Dating Naked appearance, and whatever is about to happen at the first commitment ceremony, Australia has already seen considerably more of Connor Rogers than he perhaps intended. The man is not desperate, to be clear. He is simply very committed to the bit. All of the bits. In multiple formats. On multiple networks. In varying states of dress.

We wish both men well. We will be watching both men extremely closely. For entirely journalistic reasons.

The Couples

MAFS Australia 2027 Season 14 leaked couples cast
The Season 14 cast — spotted, leaked, and already being discussed at length before a single episode has aired.
Rob Harb & Sophie Vidal
Couple 1

Rob is a footballer — calm, family-oriented, described by everyone around him as a genuinely good person. Which is exactly what every single man on every single season of this show has said about himself, because shockingly, none of them show up to their own casting tape and lead with "I'm emotionally unavailable and here for the content." Rob's friends say it too, which is slightly more convincing — though it should be noted that his friends also presumably want to stay his friends. Sophie Vidal is his match: tattooed, reportedly easygoing, but with what sources describe as "a spicy side" that comes out when it needs to. The two were photographed entering Skye Suites on August 5. First impressions: they might actually like each other. We have been fooled by August 5 energy before. Ask us again at the third dinner party.

Victoria Sellar & Shona Marino First female couple since 2020
Couple 2

The first female couple on MAFS Australia since Amanda Micallef and Tash Herz in 2020, and already one of the most discussed pairings before a single episode has aired. Victoria is a personal trainer — passionate about health, fitness, and by all accounts, discipline. Shona is cabin crew for Virgin Australia and, in what is surely an entirely unrelated detail, very active on TikTok. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Lots of people are on TikTok. Lots of people who are genuinely, wholeheartedly, camera-independently looking for love also happen to maintain an active social media presence. It means nothing. We are not saying anything. Both women had indicated ahead of the experiment that they were open to a relationship with either a man or a woman, which is lovely. Whether the show gives them the same editorial depth it gives its straight couples — rather than using them as the season's diversity highlight reel — is, as ever, the question nobody at Channel Nine wants to be asked on record. We are asking it on record.

Kayne Buik & Kristen Goedecke Bachelorette Australia veteran
Couple 3

Kayne Buik is the most recognisable face from the new cast — not from MAFS, but from the inaugural season of The Bachelorette Australia in 2015, where he competed for the heart of Sam Frost. He did not win. That was eleven years ago. In the intervening eleven years, during which the rest of Australia apparently met people, fell in love, broke up, recovered, and tried again through a combination of real life and dating apps like every other functioning adult on the continent, Kayne has circled back to the one method he knows: structured reality television with a camera crew and a production team making the decisions for him. To be fair, Hinge has its own problems. But still. The question hangs in the air. His match is Kristen Goedecke, a real estate professional from Adelaide who was reportedly spotted at her wedding ceremony in Sydney and described as visibly emotional at the altar. Whether that's nerves, hope, or the dawning realisation that she also could have just downloaded an app — we will never know.

James 'Jay' Alexander & Katherine 'Kat' Lennon
Couple 4

James — who goes by Jay — works in digital marketing. Katherine goes by Kat and is a nurse. No prior reality television credits. No IMDb page. No TikTok following to speak of. No podcast. No catastrophic sporting injury. No ex from a competing dating show potentially lurking in the same apartment building. Just two people with stable careers, presumably functioning social skills, and — radical concept — what appears to be a genuine interest in meeting someone. On MAFS Australia. In 2027. The audacity of actually meaning it. Producers reportedly matched them deliberately, which either means the experts saw something real worth nurturing, or Jay and Kat are about to become the season's most criminally underused couple while someone three tables over flips a glass. Either way, they are the only people in this cast we are genuinely rooting for, which on this show is basically a curse. Sorry, Jay. Sorry, Kat. You seem lovely. That's the problem.

Chris Colombo & Bella Kajewski Watch this space
Couple 5

An actress. They cast an actress. On a show about authentic human connection and genuine emotional vulnerability, Channel Nine looked at the applicant pool and said: yes, the woman with an IMDb page, that's the one. To be entirely fair, Bella Kajewski may be completely sincere. Actors are people too. They fall in love. They want companionship. They absolutely do not spend their entire professional lives learning how to make emotions land on camera in a way that reads as real to a viewing audience. That would be a concerning thing to bring into the MAFS experiment and nobody should be thinking about it. We are not thinking about it. Bella also has around 10,000 Instagram followers, which again, means nothing. Lots of people have 10,000 Instagram followers. Chris Colombo has a strong personality to match, sources say they get along well in the early stages before things become "complicated" — and in MAFS speak, "complicated" is doing an enormous amount of heavy lifting in that sentence. One day, just one day, we would like a season where the answer to "are you here for love?" is not, in retrospect, obviously no. This is probably not that season. Bella's reel, however, will be excellent.

Tim Bates & Sarina Monastirli
Couple 6

Sarina is the name that broke first, exclusively via New Idea, and she was pitched by production sources with a detail that stands out: she doesn't have a strong social media presence. "She's very normal," one source said, in what may be the most damning assessment of the current casting pool's bar that anyone could have offered. She hails from Victoria and has a background in theatre. Tim Bates is her match. The pair were reportedly spotted together on their honeymoon at the Gold Coast, which is either a great sign or a very good performance. Possibly both.

Kodie Wyatt & Wintah Cunnington
Couple 7

Kodie is a cosmetic nurse. Wintah is a former coal miner and father of two, which is a combination of facts that immediately makes him one of the more interesting people in the cast on paper. Whether the show knows what to do with a character who has actual life experience and responsibilities outside of the experiment is a different question entirely. They were paired deliberately, according to sources — the reasoning hasn't been made public, but the combination of Kodie's job and Wintah's background feels like exactly the kind of contrast casting the experts love to defend at commitment ceremonies.

Steven Hiles & Sarah Jane Comben
Couple 8

Sarah Jane Comben is, by Daily Mail's own description, one of the more mysterious brides of the season — little is currently known about her. Steven Hiles is her match. In a cast full of people with IMDb pages, reality TV histories, and podcast deals, two people who are simply difficult to find information about is, frankly, refreshing. They might surprise everyone. Or they might be the couple who exits at the first commitment ceremony. The mystery has its own appeal.

Connor Rogers & Leanne Rosario Dating Naked UK
Couple 9

Connor Rogers has lived several lives already, and he is apparently not done. He was a footballer — until a match in 2025 ended with a severed artery behind his knee, cutting blood supply to his lower leg entirely, and his career with it. What most outlets reported stopped there. What the Daily Mail also quietly noted: MAFS is not Connor's first reality television appearance. Before the injury, before any of this, he appeared on Dating Naked UK — the Paramount+ series hosted by Rylan Clark where contestants meet without clothes, without filters, and apparently without any particular concern for what comes next. So to recap: professional footballer, Dating Naked UK alumnus, catastrophic knee injury, and now MAFS Australia. His match is Leanne Rosario, a makeup artist and reformer Pilates instructor. The show will use Connor's backstory as emotional architecture for at least four episodes. The Dating Naked chapter will surface at a dinner party at the worst possible moment. Both things will be completely compelling television.

What the Experts Are Saying

John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla — returning alongside new expert Dr Lurve (Brigitte Zonta) — have both described the Season 14 cast with a word that should immediately set off alarm bells in the best possible way: unrelenting. John has noted that contestants are being tested on their openness right from the start of the experiment. In MAFS language, that translates roughly to: the first commitment ceremony is going to be unwatchable and we will not be able to look away.

Let's be honest about what Season 14 actually is. We have a man on his second reality dating show who has been unable to find love anywhere other than in front of a camera crew. We have an actress. We have a Bachelorette veteran from 2015 who has apparently exhausted all other options in the intervening decade. We have a Love Island intruder whose most notable recent achievement is a podcast about his own love life. We have a TikTok-active cabin crew member who definitely just wants connection. This is not a cast assembled for love. This is a cast assembled for content — and every single person in it knows exactly how this game is played. The drama will be spectacular. The dinner parties will be unwatchable in the best possible way. Someone will cry on cue. Someone will flip something. Someone will deliver a confessional so perfectly constructed it could have been scripted. Because here is the truth about Season 14, and every season before it: this was never a competition for love. It is a competition for camera time. And this year's cast has shown up to win.

🍵 Ava's Verdict

Ten couples. One intruder. Zero people who have heard of a dating app. A footballer who has already been naked on television. An actress who definitely just wants love. A Love Island alumni on his second attempt at finding it via a camera crew. And one genuinely normal couple who are absolutely doomed to five minutes of airtime. Season 14 is not coming for love. It is coming for your attention. It will get it. Obviously.
